Welcome to the AARP Tax-Aide web site for SW Washington State area. AARP Tax-Aide is the nation’s largest free, volunteer-run tax assistance and preparation service available to low and middle-income taxpayers, with special focus on seniors and those eligible for the Earned Income Credit.

Our sites are currently closed and will reopen in 2010 for the 2009 tax year. Taxpayers will find information about our free tax preparation services under the Taxes menu. Introduction to the Program

Taxaide SW Washington The AARP Tax-Aide program for SW Washington covers Clark and Cowlitz counties encompassing the greater Vancouver area, and Skamania and Wahkiakum counties including the Longview,Kelso and Cathlamet areas. Tax preparation sites are in the greater Vancouver area and the Longview/Kelso area. An outline of the history of the program can be found on the About us page. Information about how the process by which we complete and submit our clients' tax returns can be found on the Program Operation page.

Information for Volunteers

Volunteers can find timely information related to the tasks they perform. This includes Training, Site locations and hours, and key Calendar events. Special password protected pages contain information such as local organization charts and volunteer position descriptions for Active Volunteers and Leadership personnel.
